Send photos within 48 hours of delivery and we'll ship a free replacement, prioritised if your wedding is near. Handmade shola and terracotta are naturally fragile, which is why we over-pack — but if anything breaks in transit, that's on us, not you.
Artisan families across Bengal — malakar shola carvers, terracotta potters, kalka painters, and jewellery makers — many practising crafts passed down over generations. We buy directly from them rather than through middlemen, so a fair share of what you pay reaches the hands that made your piece.
Because none of them are machine-stamped. Shola grain, terracotta firing tone, and hand-painted motif detail differ a little from piece to piece, so your item won't be a pixel-perfect match to the listing image. That small variation is the signature of real handcraft, not a defect.

Yes. We take custom requests for size, motif, colour and detailing on topors, mukuts, gachkouto, kulo and thala sets, including smaller topors for a baby's annaprashan. Custom work needs 3–4 weeks. Share your reference image on WhatsApp and we'll confirm feasibility and pricing first.
It depends on the craft. A carved sholapith topor takes several days of skilled work — slicing the pith by hand, shaping the cone, layering the lattice and motifs. A hand-painted kalka panpata or terracotta thala set takes one to two days per piece, plus drying and firing time.
